well i've run the gamat of drugs and my pdoc is very sorry he has nothing left to offer me. he's very kind about it, very concerned, very sorry but...we're back to seroquel.  i sat in his office and cried because i knew i had no choices left.  for now i'm staying on 160 mg of geodon and adding in 200mg of seroquel XR. so far it hasn't relieved the agitation in my legs but it has made me very lethargic.  it did cause me to be too sleepy to swim which was the only good thing i had going so waawwwwww.  whoa is me. whoa is me....is there more than one way of spelling whoa? it looks like i'm trying to stop a horse.

phyllis i know you take seroquel do you take the XR formula? if so does it work better for you?

hi k...

gee, i hope that your sleepy side-effect subsides after a couple weeks back on seroquel.. sometimes that happens.  i know how much you enjoy the swimming, and it would be nice to be awake enough for you to go!

sorry you had a hard time at the pdoc's office... i hate to see you cry.  xo hugs, francie

whoa-Used to order a halt, as by a horse.

woe-deep distress or misery, as from grief.2. misfortune--calamity.interj. used to express sorrow or dismay.

K -

I'm not on Seroquel XR, but I would imagine once you stay on it for a couple of weeks things should subside since it XR stands for eXtended Rlease. Can you try taking it at night if it makes you sleepy?

Maybe you're on too much and should cut back until you get used to it again. I'm not on XR, but I take mine at night. When I first began taking it, just 50mg. I was in the bed all day and night for a long time. I could not handle that, do I came off. A few nights later, after a week of no sleep, I decided to give it a go again and for some reason it did it's job. Now I'm still on 50mg. I may need to raise it soon, as I have not been sleeping as well lately and have some hypomania.
