Yup... Brian notices when I have "dressed up" or even when I have put makeup on.

Mark always seems to notice...even when I do the simplest thing like put eye liner and shadow on my eyes...he'll always say "wow, what a great eye day!"...and then even if I don't do anything (like style) my  hair, he'll say it looks great.  Now, as for dying it...unless it's a different color (going from blonde or red to black) he won't notice unless it's a significant color change.  But he's usually great at noticing.  I'm very lucky with that...

I try to, anyway. I'm sure there's probably days where she's done something different and I completely missed it. I spend so much time in my own head that I don't typically notice all the stuff going on around me. And I'm sure this won't come out the right way, but usually when she dresses up or does something different, I try to at least acknowledge the effort she put into dressing up.

I suppose it's the little victories that matter the most.

Yes, we were just talking / joking about this yesterday, how I spend most of the days in my PJ's and I usually get dressed around 4 (if I get dressed at all) so he won't think I have been in my PJ's all day. Like yesterday I was in my PJ's all day until I had to run up to the gas station to go buy some coke that I was craving. Then I got dressed. I stayed dressed for a few hours and then got back in my PJ's.
