i am taking 50mgs of seraquil at bed 75 effexor and 75 limactal all at bed clonazapam how ever u sp it when needed but i am feeling more depressed everyday what do i need to get me out of this dont give a rats ass mood i could care less about anything i have a sink full of dishes laundry pilled up beds not made i am not cooking tonight or last night i just cant i want to sleep and not be bothered till i wake up out of this

sounds to me like you either need your anti depressant increased or your mood stabilizer increased, or maybe both. I'd call your pdoc and schedule an appointment.

ok i made it thr the new pdr -- still alive -- he upped my limactal to 100 mgs and effexor to 125 and seriquil is the same he is wanting to put me on lithuim -- my mom took that for years they took her off it for some reason -- anyone on lithium?? the pros and cons of it ??

I take lithium, along with geodon & valium. I have to say that I love lithium....couldn't function without it. It keeps me somewhat level, and the other 2 just reinforce that. Lithium has been around for 50 years, and they have been using it for mood swings for that long. I love it, but not everyone can tolerate it. I say try it...you have nothing to lose and possibly stability to gain.

Not a big downside to lithium--gives you tremors--some people dont like it, it makes them feel like robots, some people it doesnt do anything at all--you will need [periodic blood levels if you decide to take it--outside of that, it has a lot less side effects than most psych drugs, and if it works, it works great---
