I just got back from the Pdoc. She in increasing my seroquel from 100 to 300. I fit into this category called dys something... (not dysthymia) where you are depressed but not severly depressed, but depressed enough to be dancing on the fine line of depression. They treat this Dys whatever (I can't believe I fucking forgot what it is called. I repeated it to myself over and over!) by dealing with sleep issues aggressively. So. she bumped my seroquel up and I have to take that WITH my Lunesta and see how this goes. This is just a rescue type thing where I take this combo long enough to get my sleep back on track. Then my maintenance dose will be 150.

If things don't change or if I have any problems, I have to go back in and see her before my 3 months appointment (Which happens to be the DAY BEFORE  Thanksgiving!)

Now, I am off to take a nap... hopefully.

On the way home, you said it was "syndromal depression".

All that seroquel ought to fix up your sleep problem---I take 100mg and that is plenty enough for me in terms of getting to sleep.

yeah yeah yeah! I *think* that was correct. Not sure. Something new.
It's kinda like hypomania and mania except with depression. That is the best way I can describe it.

Well, last night was the first time for the 300 mg's of Seroquel.
It took about 1/2 hour for me to pass out and I slept the night through. YAY!

Phyillis I am also on 300mg of seroquel at night along with depakote 1,500mg and now starting cylimbalta. So I have no idea what to expect the next coming days. But 300mg of seroquel that I have been on for awhile worked great to helped me sleep. Just watch out for the weight gain. Hope things work out for you. Let me know. Jeffhans
