[size=14Okay all, so, here's a question....it doesn't matter what meds you are on, has anyone ever had "tingling feeling" all throughout their body as a side effect from the med/s they are on???

I am on the Geodon, and it says to take it with food...well, tonight...like a dumbass, I forgot...I took it 4 hours after I ate...and now, I'm noticing a tingling sensation all throughout my body...

any ideas?

Hugs,

I get that tingly sensation too. I'm not sure what it is from, but it is quite annoying.

Well, here's the thing...after I ate a little bit of "spaghetti" last night when I realized I didn't take the meds with food...about 1/2 hour later, the sensation went away.   So, I am thinking that when the doctor told me that I HAVE to take it with food...I'm understanding now why...

Do you think yours is the same??

Hugs!

chelbie i tried geodon and loved it except that i had that tingling sensation extraordinarily bad. i tried other drugs to get rid of that feeling but was unsuccessful. i finally had to go off because of the tingling. my pdoc said i was overly sensitive and that most people don't get that side effect as bad. i hope taking it with food will work out for you.

Hi K....yes, actually, taking it with food does help very much...but I still get the tingling sensation just not as bad as it is when I don't eat...like I feel it now...but not severe.  It's in my feet, legs and arms and hands.  I just hope I don't go through any "twitching" that I heard about with this drug.  They say that it can be neurologically damaging.  But my doctor said to give it a few weeks and wait until I see him again on October 9th.  So, if no side effects (knock on wood) happen other than the tingling and being tired in the morning after I take it and the insomnia, I'll be just happy with that! LOL
