Hi rosyblue
Well I'm sorry to hear that you had to go to the hospital. How long did they keep you in the waiting room? I hope you pdoc doesn't give up to easy. With my pdoc it seems to be just trial and error until something either works, or numbs you up so much that you can't complain.
My wife tried Invega once. She had a lot of side affects also and eventually changed to a different medication.
Thank you for the information.

That pisses me off so bad when you think you are going to die and they make a person with anxiety just hang around in the f***ing waiting room forever. I once traced the lines between the blocks of a block wall for half of a damn day and they wouldn't give me a thing to help. Finally, all they gave me was a damn shot and sent me home. The shot worked for about five hours and then I was right back in there.

Total time from the time I got there til I was on my way home was about 5 hours. Two hours waiting in the triage waiting room, cramped up with a bunch of other people, my agoraphobia kicking in on top of my horrible anxiety from the meds. Yeah... it was grand. But the doc was nice. She felt bad for me cause she understands that these drugs can sometimes make you worse. Hey! And she didn't even treat me like a nutcase! I was impressed. I made sure to ask for a script of the ativan cause I knew it was going to take another day to get the drugs out of my system. I should find out what her name was and write a thank you note.
