My favorite is "the Shining"  with Jack Nicholson.  "Redrum" sorry I don't know how to turn the letters backwards if you know what I'm referring to.

I also like a movie called "Session 8".

I like that you can do a theatre type question--everybody is still doing the g0-and-sit thing---personally the place---well, it's hypnotic. And if you say gather my personal feelings--the scariest is--Coma ,for sure--I rfused to look at Coma 2--no way

well, nightmare on elm street 2 was a DUD.
First one came out in 1983 or 84 and was STELLAR. Original, captured the sureality of dream world...
the second came out, surprise, the following year. flatlining plot, utterly cheesy, total disappointment. Bank at the theatre, though.
Sequels can just ride on the coat tails some times to make a buck. It is a blow to the arts.

I can't remember the name of the movie, but about a year ago, I remember watching a freaky one. The plot was this guy who was put under "to sleep" and he could hear and feel everything that was happening to him. Has anyone seen this movie? It's driving me crazy bc I can't remember what it was called.

The Shining is my favorite actual horror movie.  The most recent movie that creeped me out was Suspect Zero. It's a murder mystery, like almost everything I watch/read, but it was actually scary!

Oh wow that movie was so horrible Awake I didn't get to see though I would of loved to.

I also want to see Quarantine but no money someday lol

Oh I remember that place where you can watch free horror movies on line fear.net

It's awesome mostly suspensful and like short so it's good for my short attention span.

I really always wanted to see the gore in seven too. Well except that scene where he does here with a cork screw what a bloody mess that would be but that's what horror movies are supposed to be about is blood and gore.

Like saw those movies are gory....eh......

Mel gibsen was going to show the gore in braveheart where he gets debowled in the end but they wouldn't let him he really wanted to show the actual carnage of what torture was like back in those days too gruesome.

I think they would be so difficult to find to rent or watch if they where gruesome though i'm sure you can find some really grossly bloody ones somewhere.....

I just watched those Rob Zombie movies. I feel bad but I really liked the clown! lol
But they did scare the shit out of me---imagine. I just wish one person got out alive to tell the tale. But nothing remotely resembling any happy endings---for ANYONE.
ahhhhhhh
I hope he makes more scary movies. Love the stills and the trippy scenes. It sort of reminded me of Natural Born Killers.

I think he just made a new movie this year.

I think it was a remake of Halloween though I'm not sure. I'm talking about Rob Zombie though.

I think it came out this year i'll look it up....

If you like zombie movies, Insanitarium was good. I am not crazy about zombie movies, but it still was pretty good. There was a Will Smith movie that was sort of a zombie movie not long ago and I really liked it too. I can't remember the name of it right now. Oh, I am Legend was the name.
