Us with BPD...are we natural cynics? Or when BPD starts manifesting in us...does it start cynicism...intensify  preexisting cynicism. I myself...am a cynic...Cynicism based in the search for the "elusive truth". Footed in the foundation of optimism. I am not a yes man...I do not like coloring in the box...I readily get criticised for being  cynical...& my responce is "F*ck you, if you can't take a joke & let's discuss it & come up with a mutual solution." I believe cynicism is a bi-product of BPD. But how one shapes, refines & uses cynicism comes down to a person choice ...with a personal style. How about you...are you a member of the ancient Cynics or the person people try to avoid or the person that people respect?...Joe Buck (Bob)   Help   Shit

Well I'm not a cynic--in different circumstances, like if I had become a police detective, I would ave been real cynical and hitting the bottle, which would make me more cynical. As it is, I'm a bit of a pessimist about the material world, which you have to be if you want to be a yogi, but overall pretty upbeat, despite chronic money shortages which would drive most people to suicide.
