Well... I was a little disappointed in the poll results.
20% of those polled felt as though they didn't want to bring anyone down by posting.
Another 20% of those polled feel as though what they say doesn't matter...
Another 20% feel as though there is nothing exciting to reply to
and 40% of you post! Smiley

I had hoped that most of you felt as though as this is an online family. I can understand that some people don't want to bring others down and don't post -- that's cool, I can understand that. But as far as people feeling like what they have to say doesn't matter, I'm really saddened. I for one, love you all, and think of you all as people who I can relate with. It seems as though after a certain incident here, that things really came to a crashing halt. This really bothers me.

Bottom line:
No one should EVER make you feel as though what you have to say doesn't matter. What you say DOES matter!
And if you feel like you are a downer -- WE STILL LOVE YOU!!!! We all get down in the dumps at some point and don't want to bring others down with us, but if you need help or want help getting out of the slump you are in, or just want to talk with someone Post or send someone a message.

This board is to here to SUPPORT people with BP and other MI's. How can we be supportive is no one posts.

Maybe it's just slump time. Maybe everyone is out enjoying spring.    WTF

phyllis:  i didn't enter my reply i didn't know where it fit.  as i said i originally stopped because i was fighting so hard with the s word and wanted to honor paz.  believe me i know how she feels to loss, at least some what. my losses have been friends not relative. however as it turns  out my friends have always been more loyal to me than my family.  again, the buddy system seeims an option. or perhaps a special place to post that lets people know that what is in it could be disquieting and may be triggering to those in delecate situation.  i did find myself abandoned  and alone when i needed company understanding and acceptance the most.  i don't want this place to end!!!  you peopel are the only people i can express myself freely with except for that one subject but again thats not a subject that one can share with othere people either.
i understood where dragonfly came from but i don't think its quite understood that we are all in different places and we all have different extenses of the disease.  its called the 1/3. 1/3 1/3 principle.  in the first 1/3 medition helps a person live a fairly normal life. in the next the medicine and counseling helps people survive at a much higher level but still inable them to hold down jobs. and the next 1/3 medicine and counseling cant seem to reach them.  some of us are lucky some not. but its a similiar disease. compassion is called for. and really its more likely to need the most when we are down.  i always thought that was the idea of having the 2 differnet forums. i post weird needy things on the babble part and the regular day to day stuff on the other part.  i believe we should let the posting on the babble part be accepted uncensored but with plenty of encouragment.
ive said too  much.   i hope desperately to be back. i do care so much for all of you and do have the highest praise for dj and paz! i still thank them for their concern.

i think it was a hard poll to vote in as moods can change ona  regular basis ....so i guess it s results depended on peoples moods at the time
