my new doc took me off of my zonegran which caused me to have a seizure.  im also on pristiq, abilify, ativan, and tegretol.  after the seizure incident the hospital put me back on the zonegran.  i was in the hospital for 3 days for depression.  they raised the dose of my meds and i seem to be doing fine now.  thanks for listening.

How frustrating. Glad you're doing ok now.

I for one am back on Olanzapine the magic weight gain drug due to manic symptoms after 7 months stable on Lithium. F*ck.

i know what you mean cathy!  i fight going off and on those damn magic weight gaining pills.  i don't know but i'm beginning to believe some of these meds actually do things with your metabolism and not just increase appettite.  they've always correlated the diabetes increase with the weight gain but i think it's happening even without the weight gain.

littlebit:  i've never heard of zonegran what's it used for?  is it just an anti seizure drug? have you ever had seizures before?  oh, and sorry you were in the hospital. i hope it was a positive experience for you.  its getting harder and harder to find beds around here.  i'm glad you had one to go to.  take care,
k
