Hi-to everyone who shares the disorder and those who just know someone who lives with it. I have been going around this site for days, contemplating everything from what do I share to what the hell am I going to use as my user name. Now I feel comfortale using my real name, but I have always felt since I was diagnosed(may07) that I was on a train. The tracks guide me along a path with stops(hospital stays) along the way. Now as most of you who can relate...its certainly is an express. I also relate bipolar to making visits around the country. I guess an example of what I'm talking about is at times I could go to sleep with my brain going through the hustle of NYC and I could awake in a laid back state like Vermont etc....hell I could useexamples of all the states, but we don't have that kinda time...besides I could go through a mood change and lose my whole train of thought by the time I'm done writing this. Or maybe Ill reread this 20 times and never send it...lol hey it happens.... But I'm glad I found this place and I hope that I can help others as well as be helped by others.

Thanks I have checked the site out for a few days... I can relate on so many levels. I just know that this is a place to feel comfort. Seeing others going through simular situations....comfortin to know Im not alone, disstressing to know others have to feel the pain.

Welcome to the site! I was diagnosed about the same time as you and also had seizures after suffering brain damage. We may have alot in common. I look forward to getting to know you.

I'm new here, too.  If there are many others like you, I will fit right in  Wink  Although, instead of just feeling like different parts of the country, I actually pick and move to them to suit my mood.  See, don't be self-conscious.   Again, I find it comforting that SOMEone can understand how my brain works.

Welcome, im new here as well. im sure we have all felt this way, at least there are others to confide in here...

i also like the train reference, as it too has literally taken me all across this country. I get annoyed in life too easily and give up and move. Born in Chicago, lived all over illinois, wisconsin, indiana, florida and now texas. hopefully this is the "end of the line" for my bipolar-express. I love Texas Cool.
