Another Newbie!

Hi!  I'm Laurie and I was diagnosed bipolar about two years ago.  I have been bipolar all of my life though.  I can remember as far back as three doing things to harm myself.  Bouncing off the walls or being deeply depressed with periods of hallucinations How do you diagnose a child though? I am on several medications which seem to work great with me!  Finally the doctors I am working with now, listen.  As opposed to the doctors I was working with in California.  Here in Texas they seem to know what they are doing.  So far so good anyway.

That's about it, if it were to fit in a nutshell!

hello there laurie nice to meet you.....i was a bit like you when i was very young and self harmed with the hallucinations.....so you werent alone with that one...
i hope that you feel at home on this site we are all pretty ok and friendly.feel free to add to posts or create your own ,we are always eager to listen to what others have to say.

Hi Laurie...welcome to BpBabble. I think having a good doc that listens to you is what we all hope and wish for. There's no way of coping without it.
