today i bought some herbal sleeping pills, they are meant to help you sleep and than keep you awake during the day (sustained release)...lets see how it goes i have alot of sleep issues than again most BP people proberly do. they are called insomin-x, the are suppost to reduce anxiety (lets see about that lol). has anyone else try sleeping pills or herbal sleeping pills? what were they like? did they work? do you still use them??

-Darkmotive ;)p.s you proberly wont know insomin-x because there 100% australian owned & produced. (i just read that on the pack)

i tried herbal sleeping pills for a few months(i gave them a long enough shot to try and work)but unfortunately for me they did absolutely nothing....could have been swallowing chalk for all the good they did me.
saying that though each persons metabolism ids different and what works for some doesnt for others.good luck with trying them i hope that they do help you....god knows we could all do with a proper nights sleep.
i stopped drinking coffee and that hasnt helped......i find a bottle of wine does the trick for me but i wouldnt really recomend it and i dont do it very often...hehe

I have tried Melatonin. It worked for about a month, then nothing. I have been on Lunesta, Rozerem, Ambien, and now Restoril. I have been on the Restoril now for 6 or 9 months... I can't remember. But what happens is usually this. Take pills. Pills work for 6 months. Pills stop working. On to the next pill. It is quite aggravating.

I think I have said this in a post before... my problem is getting to sleep and then staying asleep. Getting to sleep for me is the hard part.I have to take my pill hours in advance so I will hopefully be sleepy by bed time.

when you go to see the psych, tell them about your sleeping problem. they might be able to suggest something.
