my "normal" dosage of caffeine does nothing to me but perk me up a bit. That would be one pot of coffee. If I go overboard on the coffee, it triggers hypomania.

I've not voted because frankly I have no idea what effect it has had.  I've recently quit drinking anything with it in to see if it was affecting me.  So give me a few more weeks and I should be able to tell you lol.

I love the exteme highs i get off of it. i will take a 5 hour energy and wash it down with a Monster. It sends me into a hypomanic state that lasts for hours, sometimes all day and I wont be able to sleep at all. I like it, although i know its bad for me. Keeps me in a better mood and i can fully function and think clearly at work.

That tempts me to get some coffee...accept the high would go on for more than a day...better not.  Maybe if I get bored with life...but then all I need to do is quit taking Lithium LOL

I don't drink coffee or tea.  My caffeine comes from soda like diet Pepsi.  I picks me up but I become either volatile, angry, over anticipate what I can realistically get done in the day.

I already have extreme problem with sleep, or the lack of it.  I usually don't sleep until 4 am or later if I use caffeine.   I don't drink it much unless I have something important to do.

I drink a lot of coffee and energy drinks but caffiene has no effect on my except it helps me to concentrate. So its good. Of course my family-who are totally in denial about my problems-blame everything on it. Or the drugs they are convinced Im taking.
