So I went and seen my tdoc Tuesday. It was quite uneventful...went thru my lifeskills ec and she says she woint bedoing thme anymoire that I will continue herapy with work theapy,,,larning new skills etc....Don't have a new pdoc till apr 1st, run out o meds mind mid march...hmmm... I only say tat cause the tdoc convinced me to carry thru with the larger does of lithuim. SO i agred i would tried. Woek uo weds. got the kids dresed and myself for our 2 hour drive to my 66y Shit/o appt. and going down a gravel roausd I somehow turned around andhit a tree..totalled th car out...shit. the kids are allok, ive jut had a massive headached since then..tylenol isnt helping...cant eat sorry if tmi but i judt com back up/....so can meds in your system for only twwo days impact your ability to drive?Huh? i never had any probs on th small doese. I had stopped taking the big dose about 2 weeks after he prescrided it cause it made me all fuzzy headedennad couldnt remember anythiun..     javascript:void(0);

I'm not sure about lithium, but I don't drive while on my meds, that is why I take them at night before I go to bed. All of my meds have the warning do not operate heavy machinery or may cause drowsiness.

sounds like a very unlucky day to me....
As for lithium it should be taken at night because it can cause drowsiness and also can make you forget things.
if you were perscribed a higher dosage and you felt it didnt agree with you,you should really have gone to you doc or pdoc and told them what effects it is having on you because by changing the dosage yourself you may have encountered side effects due to a sudden withdrawal......hope that makes sense

i hope that you manage to get everything sorted out
