i was wondereing if there is a time limit for taking meds?
By that i mean can you take a certain medication for a length of time and then it just stops working because your body has got used to it and now ignores it.

I don't know that there is a certain time limit, I think it just depends on your body. Used to happen to me quite frequently.

 I think that maybe you are right...it seems that lately a few people have become med-resistant?  Donna had said her meds had stopped working after 16 years. And for me, the meds were making me sicker, not better. Who knows? Huh?

sometimes after a few months or even a few years you do develop a resistance to certain meds.  my uncle was pscyzoprhenic and he had to chang meds every few years.  the same holds true for some bipolars.  ask your doc about it.  they may need to change your dose or even change your med completely.
