as best as I can remember, the longest I have been depressed is 3 months. I could be wrong and it could be longer. But I just remember going to the pdoc and telling her" I have been depressed since the last time I saw you..." And it is especially difficult when you have  kids -- cuz you HAVE to function as best as you possibly can.

As the longest ever was like 2 months, maybe 3 I dunno.  Usually not more than a month.

My last serious bout of depression lasted for 3 or 4 months...a long long time....i woke up every single day wishing i didn't...for NO reason....it was awful.
