For those who have skipped a day(s) or two of meds...

I haven't taken any lithium since tuesday.  Yesterday I was really sick, flu like symptoms + vomiting.   I am getting better rapidly with vitamin D, kombucha, lots of water, staying warm, no medicine...etc.  But I'm worried about missing 2 days what that might do.

I don't think you wanna mess with not taking Lithium. From what I understand it is supposed to maintain a certain level in your body. And if you don't take it it is making your levels go down. But I dunno, I've never been on Lithium.

However, I have not taken my meds for 4 days before. That is as long as I could go -- then I would get sick, lethargic, and depressed or aggitated and easy to upset.

I'm worried because I also haven't slept much in 2 days from being sick and now don't feel so depressed....actually right now I don't feel depressed a all.   I'm not tired either.  I guess I should take it, I just hope I don't puke it back up.  My pdoc told me that if I get sick and have any vomiting/diarrhea to stop taking it until it goes away.  So far today I haven't puked.
