Does anyone have suggestions for good books on the subject of BP?  So far I have read The Bipolar Handbook by W. Burgess and The Everything Health Guide to Bipolar Disorder by J. Bloch.  These have provided me with a good deal of info, i would recommend them.

I've just begun FINDING YOUR BIPOLAR MUSE by Lana R. Castle....so far so good. Will post again when I've read more into it.

Are there any books with a character that has Bipolar Disorder? Like a fiction type book?

I got this book a few weeks ago:

New Hope For People With Bipolar Disorder

By: Jan Fawcett, MD,  Bernard Golden, PhD., and Nancy Rosenfeld

It is really good...talks about meds, psychotherapy, alternative solutions, new therapies, mindfulness, etc.

My Mother also loves this book.
