Hi! I'm new here. My name is Vanessa. Well, I signed up because i really need help. I'm such a mess right now and I've lost all my friends because of my crazy emotions. Nobody really talks to me now. I'm afraid I'm messing up my job also. Life really sucks for me and i don't know what to do. I'm constantly crying, agitated and nervous. For the past year, I've also developed a lot of fears that I didn't use to have. Also, i always think of dying. It scares me. I'm not yet suicidal but all i want right now is to die.

I haven't been diagnosed yet of anything because i really wouldn't know what to tell a doctor or how those things work. I did go to a psychiatrist once and i was just crying the whole session at the end she prescribed fluoxetine. I didn't take the medications until i get a proper diagnosis. She asked me to go back but I'm having second thoughts. All I want, is to find out whats wrong with me. If there is really wrong with me or I'm just being melodramatic. I don't know how to do it though. Should a i just go up to a doctor and asked to be tested for it? What tests would I have to expect? Also, if you can recommend a doctor please PM me. Most of the things I read in the internet are usually cases from abroad. It would be a greater help if I can read about it through a Filipino's experience.

Thank you so much.

first, welcome!
secondly, I would recommend finding a therapist... pronto! Sounds like you are dealing with some depression that needs to be tended to. I can't recommend anyone in the Philippines, but you can also go to a family doctor to get a recommendation. At least, that is how it works here in the States.
Good luck! We are here if you need us.

Go see a Psychologist right away....they will ask you questions, and help get a proper diagnosis, could be depression, but crazy erratic emotions may mean something else. Good luck and don't give up!

I agree, sadly you have to go through the whole process to get a diagnosis but ultimately it is worth it as you'll end up getting the help you need.  Take it from a person who pretty much tried to carry on for years even though he was told to go and see a doctor.  I'll tell you now, I regret not sorting things out sooner, it could have saved so many things in my life.

Welcome to the site.  The process of getting a diagnosis (if you need one) is not all that fun but is necessary.  If you are bp then you will never get better without some help.  This is not a disease you can just wish away.  So, glad you are here and get started on the path as soon as possible.  We have all been where you are and understand completely.
