I think when you have little children it is much more fun....our boy is so excited for his Birthday[on Christmas Eve]
and for Santa to arrive! He is so cute, and his excitement is a bit contagious. Hard to be a Scrooge when there are kids all excited....and I am looking forward to baking cookies, as it can be very Zen....rolling out the dough and all the rest of it. Our son has his Kindergarten Christmas Concert tomorrow night, and Friday is the last day of school until Jan 4th, 2011. I hope we all have a good time over winter break, and I hope that I don't freak out over anything....I am sort of determined to use all the coping skills I have in my arsenal to combat any mood issues...and meds and homeopathy and meditation[mindfulness].  Happy Holidays to all. I have to say, I love the holidays, just not the craziness. It helps when there is snow on the ground. We WILL be having a White Christmas for sure this winter. Winter came a lot early this year, which kind of sucks, because it has been so flippen cold! We will be STARTING our shopping Friday. I thought we were starting it last weekend, but I got payday mixed up and it is this Friday not last Friday. That has me stressed out a bit because there are a few things I need to order online!

I love it when I get something special for my dog and we both love the snow.  Other that that it depends on what kind of mood swing I am in or not in.  I'm not in one and I don't like it being hectic and can't think of what to buy people but at least I will keep within my budget.  I've been depressed during the holidays before and that was awful.  If I'm manic during the holidays, I buy everybody awesome gifts and the malls with all the decorations and stuff are like amusement parks to me.  Bug Eyes
