Is anyone on buspar for irritability/ anxiety? I just started it. I think its causing some insomnia but I do feel a little better. It's really to soon to know for sure but i was wondering what your experiences have been?

all  I know about it is that my mom took it for her nerves (irritability) and it worked well for her. I was thinking about asking the doc for some myself. That or Valium. Becasue this Seroquel XR ain't cutting it, and the Abilify is too low of a dose to do anything for me.

Okay so I have to say that this may be my favorite medication ever! I have noticed a HUGE difference since I started taking it. I feel like talking to people again. I just went to work at a new job and spent the whole day doing new things with someone I've never met to train me and didn't have an anxiety issue even ONCE!!!!   I did get a tiny bit anxious once I got home and the day started replaying in my head but then guess what!? It was time for the next dose of buspar and *poof* no anxiety! I am so excited. Don't get me wrong I still have some mild irritability but its not all the time and it's a lot easier to control. I actually had fun on christmas and LAUGHED! It was great. I just had to share with you guys. Hope everyone else is doing fab!
