I was noticing that whenever I get sick, that my BP seems to take a backseat to the flu or whatever I am sick with.
I think maybe my brain concentrates harder on making my body well again?
Or, I could just be delusional.....remember, I am someone who hallucinates. Roll Eyes

I thought we had a poll about this before... maybe not. Oh well... LOL

I notice a change -- I still know it's there, but it is kinda in the back of my mind if I am sick. I dunno if that made any sense.. I'm on meds and am pretty flighty at the moment.

Different things happen to me when I have gotten sick.  Sometimes getting sick is a trigger for depression or a manic episode to go bad.  I've gotten sick and felt like shit and then as soon as I got better I started feeling really good.  Other times if it was something that knocked me on my ass like flu, then even manic symptoms would go to the background, mostly it was just the racing thoughts that would stay....really annoying!

 Thanks for the replys. Smiley

I am ill at the moment.....some yuck that our son brought home from school. First DJ had it, then our son [for him it was a cough and sniffles, no fever]
and now, it appears that it is my turn. DJ is fine, our son went back to school today, and I am sitting on the loveseat in my PJ's and fuzzy robe with a fuzzy blanket over me, with chills and a general feeling of malaise.....yuck! My tummy is upset, I have a headache, and I just feel gross.   Sad

I am too tired to feel anything mentally, though if my headache doesn't go away soon I will probably get angry.  Angry
 I HATE being sick! Tongue

Hey paz you might want to try some of these Immune Defense caps that you get at mercola.com.  THEY WORK, I swear!  Its all herbs and extracts plus vitamin D and C I think.

FYI I took some Calms Forte tonight and I feel calmer (I completely forgot about it until today, could have tried it before the klonopin).  I hope it will help me sleep better.

Thanks for the info. And I am glad that you tried the calms forte, it does work, though it's not strong like pharmaceuticals.
I am feeling better today, not nearly as achy or miserable as yesterday, and my headache FINALLY went away this morning!  cheer
