I said "sometimes" because i have had several therapists during my life (i moved a lot cuz of husband's job, and a couple times i just switched therapists). 

I have had two excellent therapists -- very kind and helpful... and the best thing about each one was they made me THINK, and didn't "baby"  me...... some of the others, no.  One therapist i had acted like she needed a psychiatrist... probably did!

hi,   In the past no, but now I have new doc and therapist they are good and listen to me when I tell them how I feel and what I want to do about it so now I do think they are listening
