  I am so irritated!

I am a spaz, yesterday I sprained my left ankle......the same ankle that I broke in Nov. 2009. ARGH!!!! When I broke it, I had a pneumatic cast for like 7 weeks, and the Doc told me that it would take awhile for it heal entirely. Well, thanks to pinecones and slippery paths, I sprained my bad ankle. Fuck!
Now I have to wear a support thing with gel in it, and limp around like an old lady.

Another thing that I am irritated at is the Nuclear problem in Japan......They can't fix the fucking thing, why the fuck haven't they encased the thing in concrete yet? The place is a total loss and a world wide disaster......ENCLOSE THE THE PLANT IN CONCRETE AND STOP POISONING THE PLANET!!!

I live in the Pacific NW and shit from that plant has been flying over the Pacific and coming here, and to all parts of North America, and the rest of the world.   WTF     Do they want to poison us all?  WORLD LEADERS, DO SOMETHING!!!!!

Well they've just found traces of it off Scotland!

Sorry to hear about your ankle, horrible whenever you do an injury to any part of the leg, once spent nearly 12 weeks in plaster and for 6 of those I was stuck in a hospital bed on my own with nobody to keep me company apart from my growing insanity.

Hope it gets better soon though!

Damn girl! That blows, and especially for you since you're such an active person.
Feel better Miss Paz!!

I know it's really irresponsible of me, but I don't watch the news (I LOVE it but it really vamps me up).
I try to be current on world news but I really avoid the details because I will most definitely become paranoid and be convinced the world is ending and take 20 ativan to calm me down.
Hugs.

I use to be an avid viewer of the news. I could never miss the 5 and 6 o'clock news. It just got too depressing and like you, Goose, I would get paranoid. I will admit, I have switched on CNN a few times to check on the status of the Japan situation, but that is because I lived there for 3 years and feel a connection to it. I have been steering clear of the whole Lybia thing. That will cause me to click into my "the world is going to end in 2112" mode, and then I get all paranoid and give into conspiracy theories.

Sorry, LOL, I didn't mean to go off topic.

My ankle is doing better, the swelling went down & it doesn't hurt very much. I should be OK in a few days.

Thanks for listening to me bitch. Smiley

I don't watch the news, but I read it online. Some days I am a news junkie, other times I go for long stretches of only choosing certain articles that are mostly human interest or entertainment type fluff news. I have to monitor myself, or I WILL go crazy from anxiety about everything.

Man, it sucks to be me Tongue

Ouch fuck that...I sprained my knee real bad a few years ago and treated it with ice and arnica montana.  I also walked on it, made people cringe.  What have you put on it?

I have been using ice, heat, & the gel filled ankle brace that the doc gave me when I was allowed to take off my pneumatic cast. I don't have any arnica creme, I need to get some. It is much better now, staying off of it for a few days has done the trick, no more swelling, but it is still tender, and I'm limping.  Tongue

I never went to the doctor for my knee.  I saw the chiropractor that day though.  She wouldn't touch it until my next appointment.  The ice and arnica realy brought down the swelling.  I had to walk w/ a crutch for a while, with my dog (puppy at the time)...pain in the ass.
