Hello and welcome. When I was first diagnosed, things seemed very confusing, but after awhile things did get to a point where I didn't feel quite so messed up. Hang in there, ok?

Hi there

Right, I'll admit when I was first told I got a lot worse very quickly, I think it was the realisation that I had this problem and my mind decided at that point to hit me with everything it had.  What I will say is that will pass if you take your time, learn what you can and talk to people who understand.  One of the most important things with this is establishing a good understanding of the condition and how it effects you.  Education is the key!

Thanks guys. Smiley I'll try and learn as much as I can. I hope it doesn't get much worse. I also like this place better, it seems more open, you can actually swear lol.

Welcome to the group! I think its pretty normal to feel worse after a diagnosis. You may be more aware of your symptoms than you were before but it will improve. The more you learn therefore you'll be able to recognize triggers and also the coping skills that work for you. Hang in there and we are here to listen :-)

Welcome.
This place is awesome and the ppl are pretty effin amazng too.
What everyone else already said, it will get better with time, atleast now you know why you've done some of the things you've done in life. It was a great relief for me to know that I wasn't just a loser for all the stupid shit I've done, but there's  really something not right upstairs. LOL.
