I have bipolar 11 which is a milder form of bipolar. I used to think that there was only one type so I never thought I had it untill I was diagnosed, I thought that I had 2 personalities!!!! I have tried many different medications but I always suffer terrible side effects. I cant function when Im deppressed and I cant seem to function on meds either, I have a very poor quality of life because of this illness and I would like to talk to other people like me because I dont know anyone else with bipolar. kaz

High, i just posted about my roommate elsewhere....
Thing i noticed about her is, she gets up and works at doing things, whether she likes it or not. some days, no, but most days, she tries to accomplish at least one or two things. she forces herself. and then it exhausts her.... it's NOT her fault...
it's difficult for people to understand these illnesses unless they have been there, on some level....
i accept her for who she is... life works best when we can experience a measure of acceptance for people who we care for.
take care!
