If you're getting the feeling of something tight around your chest I'd go see the doc straight away.  It could be the signs of something else and to be honest its better to be safe than sorry.

if you are having these kinds of pains (chest and joints) you need to get to a doc and have some blood tests taken. it could be something completely unrelated to meds.

Go to the Doc and tell them your symptoms. Almost all of the meds that they give for Bipolar have a black box warning, which basically means that they can be very harmful. Most people don't get serious side effects, but some do. I remember awhile back when Goosemuffin posted she was feeling muscle soreness and she was taking Abilify, and I went to the Pharm. Company website and found out that muscle stiffness was a VERY serious side effect. I posted that info for her, and I believe she went to the Doc and figured something out.
Call the Doc, and also go to the official websites for the drugs you are taking and see what it says about side effects & adverse reactions.

with tightness of the chest and joint stiffness i would see a doctor, just to be safe... these medications do many things to our bodies but primarily they screw up the endocrine system which can sometimes have lasting effects long after you stop taking them... remember, go see your doctor friend...
