So I've been taking oxazepam for around 4 months now, and for a little time at the end of October they seemed to not be working as well as they used to (I know that's supposed to happen.) But then this week they seem to be working as good if not better than they did before. Anyone else have this happen to you? And if so is it also considered normal, or is the effect going to keep increasing? I don't want to accidentally OD cause my meds are acting weird.  Huh? I'm such a hypochondriac, I know.  Tongue

There is bound to be some "fluctuation". In the beginning, Seroquel would knock me on my ass! As time went on, the effects seemed to lessen to the point where I didn't notice anything. And yet still, some times it would still throw me for a loop.  Undecided It all depends on what is in your system; medication and/or food sometimes.

Ohh okay. Was just curious if I should consider lowering the dose or something because of it, but I'll keep at it. Smiley

I am an insomniac by nature and living up in the Northern USA when it gets light outside at around 8:45 and dark by 5:15 it gets worse (a week after New Years). I found an exercises facility with a brightly lit wooden sauna. Not only does it help purge me of the nastiest of my medications but it relaxes my tension and is a bright box. It is just like being in a tanning booth, without the risks of UV rays. Just 10 to 15 minutes a day can get you through January to April in such a harsh Northern Indiana climate. I sleep much better too!

Ambien and Lunesta are good for stays in a hospital setting or for MAJOR life events up to 2 weeks, after that they cause dependency and bad side effects. I have been on both and after starting an exercise routine with the help of the sauna and a lavender pillow mist from Bath and Body Works. I have been fine for a good year. Try it out!
