i got banned again...

i got banned from my favorite website this evening... i got into a semi heated discussion with a moderator regarding the use of intravenous vitamin C to fight cancer... it all started when a member who lives in estonia made a thread saying his girl friend was told she had one year to live with stage four cancer.... i was able to locate a physician close to him that provided the therapy and within literally minutes my entire post was completely edited down to a blank post... on the bottom it said who it was moderated by so i posted again asking him why he deleted it and he called it quack science which led to an open debate... every time i produced facts he would tell me my facts were unsubstantiated causing me to provide additional facts and so on and so on... everything i posted was backed by science... when other members started showing an interest in what i had to say he began to start making it personal in sly ways... he's pro chemo and radiation and i stood my ground and began to slyly insult him the same way he was trying to pull off on me... i finished this long ass post with links and when i went to upload it the server blocked me... site rules state each member gets two warnings before they get the boot the third time... i didn't have any which has me worried a little... usually when you get the boot there's a undeclared period and they allow you access again but under these circumstances i'm worried this may be permanent... i had run ins with this dude before too, many times over psyche meds and how they can fuck people up sometimes and he would say "well you're the only person i know who's had trouble with their meds so stop trying to convince people to stop using them" i was like "what the fuck!, the people i was exchanging ideas with were complaining about their meds!"... we were sharing ideas and he singled me out in order to try stop activity on the thread, in other words let it die.... he's always had a problem with my wit to be honest... i was always calling bullshit on his shit, but in a tactful enough way where i didn't actually violate any rules... i'm shaking my head right now because it was really my favorite site... i have alot of friends there and i mean alot... i always gave out solid advice,l if i didn't know something i would do research so i never misled anyone... it's interesting how some people behave over the net... that air of anonymity gives some people clear advantages over others... i'm not a violent person but if he were to walk upto to me and say "hi, i'm so and so" i would punch him square in his adams apple as hard as i could and kick him in the groin as he lie squirming on the ground... then i would start to jump up and down on his head... yeah, that's what i would do... nahhh, just kidding...

well, i sent a well developed email to one of the two owners of the website... in it i stated the facts that occurred and explained to him i was providing another member with well researched information regarding the posters girl friends cancer and a novel approach to curing it completely... i explained that asswipe deleted one of my posts that provided critical info that could've helped the original posters girlfriend but now she'll never have the chance to try something that has been proven to work... i explained how asswipe disregarded all the information i was providing him and basically called me a bullshiter(i didn't put it in those terms)... i asked him to look at asswipes actions toward me in a handful of other threads too... it's been awhile now and my email hasn't bounced so i believe the server is setup to pass emails from blocked members... hopefully he'll read it at least... all i could do is hope...

  Were you able to get any of your friends' email info while you were still allowed to be there? Sometimes it's better to talk to people one-on-one about "controversial" treatments so jerk-offs like that one guy don't get their knickers in a bunch...
 It almost sounds like that guy works for a Big Pharmaceutical Company. It would be interesting to find out if he does.

well they have a PM system and chat area like you have here... i would communicate with people that way... i never had a need to email anyone... as far as asswipe goes, he claimed to be an academic who had access to peer reviewed medical studies and insisted nothing i had to say could be validated even after i gave him evidence... he's definitely hard core pills and fully supports chemo and radiation even after his mother died of cancer at the age of 44... the way he writes in his posts i could tell right away he would annoy the fuck out of me if we were to speak to one another in real life...you know things like "therefore it's apparent to me"  or "after pondering the evidence" type bullshit... i could never get into reading books like that... i had a hard time in philosophy classes because of it... and it's not because i couldn't grasp the concepts, that was easy shit, it was the way the writer used language... my mind just doesn't think in those terms... i understand it, i just don't have any practical use for it... and it's a shame because the ideas behind some classic literature are beautiful... i guess i'm a simple mind... ohhhhh welllll...

AWESOME NEWS!!! my email made it through the block... the admin said he normally dismisses emails from disgruntled members but he recognized my handle right away because he said he's read many of my posts and always felt i was a solid member so he looked at the one thread(including my deleted post) that got me the boot and he said he was stunned... turns out his girlfriend was recently diagnosed with breast cancer but that she was worried about standard therapy... he looked at one of the resources and found a doctor within 20 minutes of their home... he also looked at the other threads and agreed with me that asswipe crossed over the line in every instance... turns out asswipe was able to ban me(it was a temporary ban by the way) by sending me three consecutive warnings one after the other so the admin stripped him of his moderator position... 

i love happy endings...

I salute your comradery in the war against disregard of common sense.  That was classic asshole invalidation tactics by that dickhead.  Vit C used like that intravenously at high doses should be tried FIRST not last for stuff like cancer and infections....you know?   WHAT THE FUCK.  I have heard of that before, very valid as treatment no just and "alternative"  JESUS the alternative should be the chemo!!!!
