these two videos are the POWERFUL TRUTH about the development and marketing of psychptropic medications from the very popular milltown and valium of the sixties all the way up to the wide spectrum of the powerful psychotropic medications used today... the movie effectively dismisses the "myth" of chemical imbalance... it exposes the corrupt relationship between the pharmaceuticals, FDA and psychiatric researchers... it literally names names and exposes the amount of money researchers received from pharmaceuticals... two tried to hide in upwards of a million dollars and got busted for trying to hide income... it exposes the fact that most of the members sitting on the FDA approval board have direct ties to pharmaceuticals... it showed how researchers and psychiatrists were manipulated by the pharmaceuticals to create childhood mental illness disorders... it discussed the evolution of the DSM going from a mere and i used the word mere lightly, 140 illnesses to almost 400 planned disorders in the upcoming DSM in 2012... and you'll be floored at the process they use to come up with these new disorders... in one segment the have a video of a research psychiatrist filmed during a deposition hearing on his involvement in data collected regarding the use of paxil on children... the fucking asswipe could recall anything... he couldn't recall his own data!!! that deposition would later go on to implicate paxil in childhood suicide and muder... he needs to be put on his own fucking meds and see how he likes it... it exposes the loopholes in the phase one through three studies and there are MANY... it exposes the influence the pharmaceuticals have on so called "independent" research and hospital administration... how these drug companies influence methods of treatment... it discusses how pharmaceuticals will sometimes perform in upwards of 100 phase study tests until they finally come up with at least two tests that prove efficacy allowing them to move onto the next phase... how several companies were caught using data samples from one test to prop up results of another...it exposes how they use specific marketing techniques on the public and prescribing physicians... i mean, i'm just scratching the surface here... there's alot more...

anyone taking psychiatric medications must watch this to get a better grip of what they're really dealing with here... and it's definitely a must for anyone considering going on them... even people without mental illness will gain something because you'll learn how corrupt the drug development process is... who knows, there's a good chance some medication you may find yourself on one day is developed the same way...
