I am going to start taking my seroquel again tonight. I am still on my lithium and it's starting to stabilize finally-- the nausea has finally subsided. I also go to the doctor Monday to make sure my lithium blood levels are okay. But I've really been struggling. I constantly feel suicidal or like I want to hurt myself or other people. I really wanted to stay off the anti-psychotics but I can't live like this.

Glad you lithium side effects are better and they just need to get your dose right. Its a life saver for me. Didn't know you felt that way, I hope the seroquel takes care of that short term. Don't feel bad I've been taking risperidone...good thing is, it works fast. If you feel yourself going bonkers then you have to take it...I always end up having to be reminded.

Yep, I say if you need it then take it. It sounds like you are making a good decision.

Thanks guys.
I think it's one of those things where you don't want to believe that you really do have a disorder. I hate believing I need a medication to get through the day. But I also know I don't like feeling like I want to kill myself or others either.
Thanks for the support.
