Hello everyone, my name is Thoctar, I am here for two reasons. First, I have GAD and severe dyspraxia, but more than that, I have a girlfriend who is bipolar, agoraphobic, paranoid, a hypochondriac, a severe sufferer of OCD, possible Asperger´s, along with a whole pile of other illnesses, some of which I probably could not pronounce!  I Shit You Not We´ve been dating for over a year now kind of technically. (It´s complicated, VERY VERY COMPLICATED)  Bug Eyes Anyways, I am here because I want to learn more about the disorder so I can be there for her and help her feel better, I would do anything for her and want to make sure she has a happy christmas. Glad to meet you all!  cheer

 Hello!

I think it's really kind of you to want to help your girlfriend. I hope that we can shed some light on the illness and behaviour for you. It's not easy being with someone who suffers from Bipolar and other illnesses.

It can be hard at times, it was especially hard at the start with all the stuff at the start but I would do it all again just to make her happy :3 And I would want it, even if sometimes when she´s in a bad mood I feel like this  hide

hey man... sounds like she's in good hands... there are many things she can do but it requires discipline at first and i'm finding that's pretty hard for those with mental illness, but it can be done. i looked up dyspraxia because i wasn't sure what it was... is this disabling in anyway? anyway the upcoming DSM-V is going to include aspergers as part of the autistic spectrum in 2013... if this is true there's a doctor in texas who has literally changed autistic children overnight by using what are called methylated vitamins... it's stunning news, actually it's not stunning... what's stunning is a pretty high profile MD is finally getting involved... what she's doing is short of amazing... ironically most of what she proposes i applied myself and pretty much fully recovered from schizoaffective disorder... another two months my doctors say and should be 100%... it doesn't get much worse then schizophrenia and bipolar mixed... PM me if you want more details and i'll try to get back to you as soon as possible... alot is going on right now, so it might take 2-3 days at most to get back, maybe sooner... who knows...
