My girlfriend often has mood swings and other problems that I try my hardest to deal with but I feel like I´m doing something wrong no matter what I do….I´ll make a mistake that I can´t control and she´ll lash out at me for it or just me making a movement when I start to ache or just anything I do….It seems fine at the time often enough but she´ll tell me what I did wrong later….and then when I start to realize that guilt she tells me how much it hurts her when I get sad….and then I feel bad about being sad about being sad….I´ll try my best, but either approach seems to backfire. I´ll give her space and tell her that she can be independent and she´ll tell me that she wishes I was more assertive and it´s okay for me to be in more control, but when I do that she says I don´t listen and it seems like everything is my fault….I´m worried that if she sees me writing this it´ll make her sad….I just want her to feel better…
