Do any of you have PMS?

I know, weird question. seriously though I've noticed that my mood seems to be worse each month. Today I feel like crying, running away and attacking people all at the same time. I tried to go in to work just to get my computer. I was so grouchy and the effort of trying to contain my anger was making my stomach hurt and then I started to get teary. All for no reason other than its that time of month. Do any of you experience these symptoms and what do you do to manage them?

I get the same way, it's not very fun to deal with.
What I've looked into doing is what my doctor called fast tracking. You take birth control pills like normal, but continue to take them for 3 months, then wait for a week, and then start again. You can also just take them like normal and stop every month. I've found it makes my mood a lot easier to control and deal with. There are still some problems, but it's a lot easier to manage.

I thought that might be the case. I really hate birth control but it might be the best option at this point. I can't afford to be this outrageously angry and irritable on days that I work. Particularly since I work with children with special needs. Thanks for the info!

I don't have PMS thank god, I just have severe pain during my period so take tylenol-3...I won't take birth control pills because they are synthetic hormones known to cause breast cancer, loss of sex drive...among other nice things.
You ever try natural stuff like magnesium? For my problem I was able to cut the pain pills down to 1/3 the amount just with diet and exercise alone.

Yes, I have always had severe PMS and my moodiness does increase during that time of the month. I was on birth control a couple years ago but the hormones made me nuts. My moods, depression and everything else was way worse and I was just all over the place.
I got put back on anti-depressants about a month and a half ago-- Paxil this time-- my period just passed and I have to say that things were much more stable. Paxil is known to help for PMDD, so maybe that is what I've been going through. Not sure but I am going to continue to monitor it.
