Hello Everyone,
I am asking all of you to please refrain from getting bent out of shape with other members here.....if you do have a problem with another I want you to keep it from the board and deal with it by Private Message. I do NOT like coming to the board and seeing people attacking each other, it pretty much goes against everything that this site stands for......we are here to help one another, not attack one another. If the problem seems insurmountable, then please message me and bring the matter to my attention. Respect my wishes, and respect this site.

Rodger. Its not therapeutic and should be behind the scenes for the sake of others. She never has responded to PMs but I guess I should have took that up with you instead then. I hear ya, this needs to be a peaceful place.   |

What PM's are you talking about? (If you are referring to me) If you sent me PM's yesterday, I didn't get them because I removed myself from the board. It was a foolish way for me to respond to the "situation" that took place, but I had full intentions on not coming back. I have been here since the beginning, and it is not too often that I get that upset over something. I made a poor choice in how I let words get to me. And most of you all know that is not me. This is one of the reasons why I haven't been posting as much, because I react differently to things now since I'm not on meds anymore. So, I'm re-learning things you can say. So, if you sent me PM's resend them to me.  |

That would not be what is considered keeping it mellow, behind the scenes and "to PMs". If someone is not responding to PMs, wouldn't it make sense to tel that to the admin privately? [and wouldn't any further response therefore also be more appropriate via PM?] I say this on the main board for general benefit of discussion. okie...  |

Fighting in PMs would be no good either, that's true...if that can't be avoided then PM Paz or a admin to take care of it. Even though I wasn't specific, all appologies for posting about it. (I always think I'm bothering people if I PM them...my hangup I guess). |

(I always think I'm bothering people if I PM them...my hangup I guess). i've been having troubles getting out a pm to you... believe it or not, i was writing back to you after the 2nd pm and had a reached 3,142 word's, stepped away from my computer for a few hours without saving it and my video card shut down my computer due to video loading... i had a bunch of other shit running in the back ground... then my second one i was testing all the links i included and when i went to close the tabs i accidentally closed my online draft and it wasn't available when i logged back on... i was going to send the PM in 1000 word segments due the limits of this server... i just wanted to let you know i'll never view your PM's as a pain in the ass and wanted to let you know i have been trying... very weird shit... if i didn't know any better i'd consider this a sign not to send but fuck superstition@! K~~~ |

Is everyone having problems with sending PM's? It seems to be working for me, but I don't send ones that are very long, maybe only a hundred words or so. Is it just the long ones you are having problems with?

They work its just that if you stop in writing it or take too long...you come back and hit send...you're logged off and can't go back to retrieve your lost words. Its happened to me..I tried opening another tab/browser and logging in and then hitting the back button...I can't remember but I think it worked. I have it set to stay logging forever but when sending a PM it kicks me off if I take too long.

no pazzzzzz! i don't think there's a problem with the PM system of this site(other then it's character limits which is probably a set limit of the software of the system itself)... my problems were not backing up and my fire fox browser failing to recover when my video card shut my computer down for the second and third time... i took the side of my computer case off and am running it like this until i can afford a new video card so it can cool off better... seems to be working like a dream so far... i have a bad habit of running in upwards of 20 or more open but minimized windows... as far as i'm concerned the PM interface of this website works fine... i hope this helps ease your mind... Would that help? |

i think it's been established there's no problem with the pm service of these boards.. it's a problem of timing out and personal issues and computer crashes before documents were saved... my only problem with it is it's character restrictions... get into a 3000 + word document you cut and paste that's 4 pm's
