So I just had a terrible thought. Do pre employment drug screenings test for benzos? If so can the employer choose not to hire me based on that? Im Freaking out now wondering if it will be a problem.

Most of them do test for Benzodiazepines. However, if you have a valid prescription from a doctor, then they legally CAN NOT do anything about it or not hire you for that reason. However, they could choose to not hire you for that reason and then give you a lame excuse for another reason why they did not hire you! Much of it depends on where you live and the local, state of federal law of your land!

That's what I figured. Well hopefully they will still hire me. I'm going to be really disappointed if they don't. Wow good thing I didn't put in my resignation at my current job! I did request to move to a Per diem position but I'm sure they will let me stay full time if I asked. I wonder how long it will take for them to call me with the test results? Wish I had asked.

Well I never got a call telling me that they don't want to hire me. It's been a week so I'm going to assume everything went well.
