After weeks of deep depression I am now a bit manic ... just enough to feel euphoric, but not enough to think I can fly (not that I ever have).

 Glad that you are not depressed, but be careful while you are up. It would be lovely if after your mania you would just settle into a period of positive levelness.....it could happen!!! Try to be as optimistic as you are able and hopefully all will be well.
