I don't know what to do.  Help I'm seeing faces in things like garbage bags, trash cans, laundry piles, etc. I'm too paranoid to be in a room by myself I need either someone or at the very least a cat with me or I won't stay in the room I think my house is haunted and something is with me when no one is around so someone has to be around in case something happens. Faces look distorted, expressions look weird and they scare the hell out of me even though I know it's just my head making it that way right now. I see black shadows and stuff out of the corners of my eyes and Im so depressed/paranoid/anxious I hate being awake I can't handle this much longer. Any one have any suggestions about stuff that helps you calm down? I'm seeing my doctor in a week I just need something to help. I'm taking vitamins especially D to help with the depression, trying baths every night but I'm really not sure what else to do.

This may not sound helpful, but get out of the house...I know its hard but wear yourself out somehow, jump into the deep snow, dig, I dunno LOL. You'll feel better for a while.  You can run around in the house, make an obstacle course maybe...you can race somebody...don't trip.

i paint organize things and clean try stay busy to avoid the paranoia i just stare at my paintings and try make them look better its kinda hard though sometimes being lonely doesnt help i turn music on to have something to listen to it blocks out noises and have a tv on  so i can look at that when i am tired of painting but when its really bad i need move around and burn it out i cant focus when its really seriously bad i just wig out and i get left alone by everyone but i love to paint i suggest trying to do a craft of some sort or try find something your passionate about i do my better work painting not all manic and whatnot though

you have to preoccupy yourself. you also kinda have to mess with your own mind. and what i mean by that is, your mind is already trying to tell you to be paranoid about stuff and seeing things that are not really there. So, you  have to tell yourself that those things are not there. because even when you are trying to do stuff you are going to be thinking about the scary things that are supposedly there, right? er... maybe i'm making things to complicated.  Undecided i'm not sure if any of that made sense. but yes, totally talk yourself out of it and keep busy. don't succumb to your visions or things you may be hearing.
