My doc just diagnosed me with BPD ... Borderline Personality Disorder
I jumped up and said "I LOVE YOU .... NO, I HATE YOU  .... PLEASE DON"T LEAVE ME!"

Okay, I didn't say that ... I have a sick sense of humor.

Anyone else with BPD?

So far with me it's BP, BPD, PTSD and ADHD  WTF

Peace,

Ramji

I have Madonna singing "Borderline" in my head right now...  ROFL I blame it on the superbowl.  cheer

Seriously though, how do you feel about that?

To answer your question, I have not been diagnosed with BPD.

I wonder how they "know" where one ends and another begins.   My brother's ex has BPD and BP2 among other things.  Ramji do you think it fits?

Hi Dreamline and Phyllis ...

I'm not sure how I feel about .... I'm still reading up on BPD.

Peace.

Hopefully they know because they have spent many years in school learning about all of this stuff. I mean, it is their job to know this stuff.  Wink

Have they been considering BPD for awhile? Or did they just decide on the Dx because of recent behaviour?

Looked up BPD and the symptoms looked like my mania.

I'm also BP1, PTSD and ADHD.

 Ramji,

I am BP1, OCD, ADD, & PTSD. The Docs have given me many tests but they have never said anything about BPD to me. Some of the symptoms are similar to Mania, were you extremely Manic when you were at the Doc?

I just read about BPD again and I never realized how that describes my ex-boyfriend!!!  Weird!  Explains a lot.

He said many of the symptoms for BPD and BP overlap.  I have been rapid cycling .... more like ultra rapid cycling.
He says this is more a sign of BPD than BP.  I'm not so sure.  This is all very physiological to me .... not psychological.
It seems to me that BPD is more of a psychological diagnosis.

Yeah that is what I have thought too Ramji.  They may be barking up the wrong tree.
