I got into a mood of inspiration and creativity. A lot of people would say, "that's great!" but I have been down this road many times. I wipe my ass with inspiration and creativity, because that's just one big step on the road to full mania. Problem was, my mind was compulsively thinking in words instead of pictures or whatever normal people think in, and I am involved in a med change. Stuff like this makes me sure than L.Ron Hubbard is right--I triggered some engramatic commands, one for creativity and one for thinking in words. Un-fortunately, getting them audited out in the standard manner is impossible. However it is very helpful to have identified them.

hospital--I dont think so. had a bad reaction to risperdal after taking it for years, so doc took me off it, later, started me on a low dose of abilify, which has less EPS, but dose was too low. Doubled the dose and everything back to normal--I might ask for a little more, just to be sure. Boy, I love my anti-psychotics!

Paz, thank you for the Hari bol. Maybe its lack of name recognition, but I am surprised that nobody yet has asked the question: Since we all believe that prescription drugs are the one, true, and only way to manage bipolar, how can I have anything at all to do with L.Ron Hubbard, who founded Dianetics and Scientology, and who hated psych drugs and thought they permanently damage the brain.

Ron appears to have been into Naturopathy (the idea that fresh air and sunshine will cure anything). He was not only against psych drugs, he was opposed to all drugs across the board, from blood pressure medications to aspirin. This does not mean that everything he says is false!

I am a utilitarian when it comes to religion--I have found Dianetics useful, and whether the theory behind it is absolutely sound or not, I do not care. I enjoy reading about it, and Ron is a very good writer--when you read his books it is as if he is speaking to you personally, and he doesnt know what kind of drugs you are taking: He treats you as a sane person.

I know a whole lot of people who hate Scientology--none of them have ever read Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health, or have any idea what Ron is asserting. The rest of the people I know are Scientologists. If you would like to have more help in controlling your mind, another option, I would look into it.

i read the first Scientology book way back in the '80's i guess it was?  seemed like a lot of garbly-dee-gook to me...

i'm not a religious person in any form of the word, or near to a scientologist, either.... i don't fit the categories.

and even if scientology were a good, fundamental basis to living, Tom Cruise sure has mucked up its image HORRIBLY with his mouth.... yikes the man is a NUTBAG.  (no pun intended).  he could also use some good medications..   Maybe Katie could slip something into his tea to calm him down...
