Hi all,

I just found out that I am bipolar on Tuesday even though I suspected it all along. I am 24 and attend law school so maybe those go hand in hand. This seems like a great site even though, I'm assuming, it just started.

I am an independent paralegal, also with bipolar.  Mania is mostly my issue.  I found when going to law school that the long hours, memorizing the law books and doing mock trials were extremely hard, as one minute I was high functioning and the next depressed and did not want to get out of bed to go to school.What I ended up doing, and I don't know if this is available to you. Is to talk to your school leiaisan and see if you can get someone to take notes and pick up paperwork for you and get extended test times, under [sec.508]of the educational disability law.
