After taking my panic meds at 7am. I started a really bad panic attack at 730am. After 30 minutes I thought to myself this isn't working. So I talked to one of the bosses. I am like, "my medication has thrown me for a loop. this isn't fair to you, me or the customer..so I am leaving." And I left...went down to the CAO let them know the scoop and the why. They told me that they would adjust things accordingly. And I have a phone appointment in June with SSA.

What I can't believe is I quit my job and I let my hubby think I was still working.

since you quit your job you're probably not eligible for unemployment benefits but you should be able to get state disability if you've paid into long enough.  there's nothing long and drawn out about that one. you just have your pdoc write it up and submit it and it's good for like 9mos. that will give you time to file for regular fed'l disability. but with your recent hospitilazations you should not have a problem qualifying but it still will take about 6 months. but the money is retroactive so you will get a lump sum from the date you first apply.   just make sure your pdoc feels out the right papers and if you have a therapist get their help and if you don't you should get one. you need all the imput for disability you can get.  i wish you luck and hope this helps.  i think it's probably a good move to get yourself out of the work stress so you can concentrate on yourself and your baby.  best wishes k

Not all states have state disability insurance.  California does and it also has leave insurance for family emergencies.  I don't know if Pennsylvania or what other states have disability that will paid until ss kicks in.
