I’d like to say that, all of the artwork i post here is 2.5 x 3.5″ and are categorized as ACEOs (Art Cards Editions and Originals).  This art size was inspired by an artist at eBay in about 2004, and we have over 4,000 members in our Art Card group there.  Many fabulous artists, who sell tiny works of art for a very reasonable price!  Plus it’s a lot of fun!

Here are some more samplings of my tiny artwork, even though some of the pictures are shown in larger or smaller format, they are all 2.5″ x 3.5″ in size.

I won 3rd place in an eBay group art contest.  It was a contest in which we used a medium brand new to us… so i chose prismacolor colored pencil.  It was difficult to use the pencils, as i’m a watercolor artist.  I thought “how strange!  this is not as easy as it looks!”

 First post, just checking out the format and how to’s….  i have finally gotten in here!  Can’t believe i actually made it. 

Mostly, i will use this blog to share my artwork.  Creating is a good way for me to relax, express myself, and put down on paper those things about the world which i love — birds, and sea life.  I am normally into realistic art, but do some surrealism and also fantasy. 

During the winter months, i have fun painting whimsical snowmen and other little Christmas-type works, to sell on eBay…. which is what i do for a few extra dollars.  Groceries are good.

A little about me — i am 51 this year (2008), female, divorced and likely single forever, and mother. Two sons are 21 and 32 years old. 

 I was diagnosed with bioplar disorder when i was 22 years old.  PTSD at about 38 years old.  I manage, and many of  my symptoms have lessend or plain disappeared.  My PTSD is almost “cured”, less some leftover anxieties and situational issues… but i’m working at it!
